Opportunity overview

Exxaro, one of South Africa's biggest coal and energy companies, is inviting young people to apply for its Business Administration Learnership at the Belfast Coal mine in Mpumalanga.

A learnership mixes classroom theory with real work. For 12 months you will learn how a mining business is run from the office side: admin, filing, records, communication and day-to-day business processes. You earn a stipend while you learn.

Preference will be given to applicants from the Emakhazeni Local Municipality, which includes Belfast (eMakhazeni), Machadodorp (eNtokozweni), Dullstroom (Emgwenya) and Waterval Boven. If you live in this area, this is one of the best local opportunities of the year.
