18 Learnerships, Internships and Graduate Programmes Closing Before November 2026

October is the busiest month of the year for 2027 intakes. Big employers, SETAs and government departments are filling learner, intern and graduate places now so that people can start in January. If you miss these closing dates, the next round usually only opens in a few months.

• Sasol Artisan Maintenance Learnership, Secunda — closes 23 October. 36 months, five trades. You need Grade 12 with Maths and Physical Science (or Technical versions), or N3.
• SAHPRA Business Administration Learnership NQF 4, Pretoria — closes 23 October.
• CHIETA 24-month ICT Internship, Midrand — closes 23 October. For IT graduates.
• Midvaal Municipality Energy Efficiency Internship, Meyerton — closes 23 October.
• Dis-Chem Dispensary Support Learner, Polokwane — closes 23 October. A good start for matriculants interested in pharmacy.

Which one fits you?

• Only matric: Sasol artisan, Dis-Chem dispensary, SAHPRA business admin and the nursing intake.
• Diploma or degree: Redefine, CHIETA ICT, Limpopo Education, the Health internship and the graduate programmes from Guardrisk, FNB, Lesaka and SPAR.
• Still studying or going to university next year: the Northam and Glencore bursaries.
• Never had a job: YES4YOUTH and the NBI YES internship, which are built for first-time workers.

Apply before the last day

Most employer sites slow down or close early on the final day. Aim to apply at least two days before the deadline.
